 A NEW CONNECTION

FindMyBuddy was a prototype website created during my 2015 studies in Graphic Design and Marketing. I created a web-based non-profit whose sole purpose was to match local shelter animals with potential families with a similar system to dating profiles. I then created  a site, brand, and print ads for the presentation.

BRAND

A Quick Look

I created the FindMyBuddy logo on a grid system, though the organic curves make it less symmetrical and more dynamic to the eye. I used the negative space to create a dog face with the two map markers for eyes, and created a heart shaped nose to balance the weight of the curved ears.

We "partnered" with PAWS Chicago, a local shelter with multiple locations and a great grassroots outreach program for placing pets in foster homes.

Volunteering at the shelter and sitting down with the Director allowed me to ask the questions needed to create the right kind of "social network" that catered to finding pets forever homes.

I then created some potential print and digital ads to be placed around the city of Chicago. Using the El ad spaces, Bus Station Poster frames, and some Guerrilla Marketing strategies, we planned a marketing campaign to gain exposure and recognition within the city of Chicago.

You can check out the now dormant website and "commercial" that was created at findmybuddy.wordpress.com.
